I have over 10 years experience in production & have worked on all types of projects all over the country, ranging from Commercials, Photoshoots, Music Videos, Virtual Reality, Live Concerts, Narrative and Docu-Series. Before I started freelance producing full time, I worked for years as a commercial Production Supervisor so I understand the intricacies of production and negotiations on both union and non-union projects. I've even had to fill in as interim EP at a major commercial production company so I'm aware and appreciate above the line procedures as well.
Some of my jobs are direct to client, so on certain projects I've had to also act as the agency & line producer. It's important to me that the director, client & agency always feels heard and has consistent, clear communication. In addition, I always make sure my EP's & HOP's have any necessary updates regarding budget, potential overages for approval and ensuring we stay on track. I'm always looking for solutions to avoid any problems before the start and doing everything possible to ensure we don't go over budget.
As a producer, there's nothing more fulfilling than taking a director's ideas & helping them make it a practical reality. I try to never say no to their creative vision before exhausting all resources or finding an alternative idea that works just as well or better creatively. I'm very hands on in all my productions. Most days you'll find me in the office overseeing my team & projects. Whether it's a $100k or a $2 million dollar budget, I give each job the full level of care and attention it deserves. I love my job and feel lucky to do it! LA based but can work as a local in NYC.
